What are standard lenses?
Also referred to as entocentric lenses these come in a variety of shapes and sizes but share a common property; image scale varies with distance (far away objects look smaller). The range includes very wide-angle or “fish-eye” lenses through to low distortion long-focal-length lenses for a wide variety of non-measurement tasks.
All of the lenses are designed for industrial applications and have locking adjustments to ensure that the images remains stable over time. The range covers a variety of sensor sizes and resolutions and includes extremely robust fixed focus lenses with or without built-in right-angle prism.
Most lenses are capable of having an optional light-filter connected to the end. This is something we strongly recommend either to reduce ambient lighting effects or to enhance colours and contrasts or minimise reflections. These are available in the Accessories section
