CARRIDA Camera Hardware. Probably the world's smallest ANPR ALPR Camera

Powerful software engine in combination with intelligent camera running ARM®/Linux®

Besides the software, of course, the hardware plays a decisive part: The CARRIDA CAM power package’s hardware part is based on the VC Z series.

Compared to conventional monitoring cameras, Vision Components’ intelligent cameras have the advantage of processing the collected data at once on the camera board. Thus, they supersede an additional PC system. Thereby, they are extremely space-saving, they have a very low power consumption and they are very low-maintenance.

CARRIDA CAM pro Level

The CARRIDA CAM pro Level camera system is based on the intelligent cameras of the VC pro Z series.

This intelligent camera system comes with all components, that are necessary for licence plate recognition, and provides even a protective housing:

  • class IP67 protective housing with M12 cable connectors
  • integrated heating for anti-condensate at the front pane
  • integrated optics
  • I/O for direct gate control
  • memory for black/white list for park management

  • processor for full ALPR/ANPR reading performance
  • interfaces: Gbit Ethernet, Encoder, 2 interfaces for external lighting, serial interface, 4 inputs, 4 outputs
  • 1 trigger input and 1 flash trigger output
  • optional: integrated IR illumination
  • optional: autofokus module
  • dimensions: 88 x 58 x 36mm, ca. 300g

CARRIDA CAM board Level

The CARRIDA CAM board level camera system is also based on VC pro Z series.

However, it does not offer a protective housing, since the camera was reduced the absolutely necessary components. With that, this modell is even smaller and makes the integration into already existing housing a lot easier.

  • interfaces: Gbit Ethernet, serial interface, I²C and 12 programmable I/Os
