If you’ve ever heard the bosses cursing – “it’s easy that, child’s play”

Then you’ll understand the sentiment here – “it'll take as long as it takes”

Well, an engineer told me before he died,

and I’ve no reason to believe he lied,

We’ve always time to do the job twice,

Never time to do the job right

It’ll take as long as it takes

Well, when Watt harnessed steam did you hear them sneer– “it’s easy that , child’s play”

To perfect the design took a 100 years– “let it take as long as it takes”

Well along came Babbage with his counting machine, – “it’s easy that , child’s play”

Several generations later came the desktop PC– “let it take as long as it takes”
