RoboVis® on the road!
FS Systems in conjunction with Kawasaki Robotics UK have been taking the dice-rolling vision demo cell all across europe! The demo utilises RoboVis® - FS Systems’ powerful & simple robotic pick and place vision system to locate, identify and report back to the robot the dice’s position, number & orientation. The flexible FS02 6-axis robot rolls the dice, waits for RoboVis® to issue the location & number information before accurately picking the dice and placing to the correctly numbered nest. This is a fun simulation of a typical pick & place application taking randomly oriented parts from a conveyor and then placing the accurately into another process. Contact us for more information.
Since the system first displayed at MACH 2008 show (NEC, Birmingham) a few revisions have been made ready for this years shows. First off was another NEC date at Packaging Innovations show with Kawasaki UK:
Next stop for the system was Nurnberg’s Embedded World to be an integral part of the Microsoft UK Windows Embedded stand. We also had a static demonstration on our Panel PC supplier’s stand:
